- The rear shock mount relocates the upper mount to the outside of the frame with 4 self threading bolts and/or the mount can be welded for a more secure fit. The mounts are made in the US with 3/16" steel and shipped unpainted. If you want it to be lower, you may cut off the portion on the bottom and move the mount lower.Install the shock and ensure that this is where you want to position the mount before fully welding in place.Weld the mount in place.
