Frequently Asked Questions
What is the primary purpose of a gift enclosure card?
A gift enclosure card is a small card used to convey a personal message with a gift. It adds a thoughtful, handwritten touch that makes the present feel more special and shows the recipient you took extra care.
Are there specific occasions for using these cards?
Gift enclosure cards are versatile and can be used for any occasion where you are giving a gift. This includes birthdays, holidays, weddings, baby showers, thank you gestures, or just to send a little something to a friend.
Can I write a long message on a small enclosure card?
Typically, these cards are small and designed for brief messages, such as 'Happy Birthday,' 'With Love,' or a short 'Thank You.' If you need to write a longer note, a standard greeting card might be more appropriate.
What kind of pens work best on enclosure cards?
Ballpoint pens or fine-tip gel pens generally work well, especially on matte finishes. It's advisable to test a pen on a small, inconspicuous area of the card first to ensure it doesn't smudge or bleed through.
Do gift enclosure cards usually come with envelopes?
Some sets of gift enclosure cards include matching envelopes, while others do not. If having an envelope is important for presentation or mailing, check the product description carefully before purchasing.
